Stretching Did Not Show Negative or Positive Effects

Ya, I'm going a little over kill with this stretching crap but I'm just gonna spit these out as quick links now.  I haven't found much saying they are bad besides the ones that have them hold the stretch for 2 hours and wonder why the subject (victim) can't walk afterwards.

But here's another one saying that stretching is pretty much neutral.  I don't know about you but personally I don't have time to waste in practice on doing stuff that will create no gain at all.  Stop wasting time on stretching.  If I haven't made that message clear I don't know what else to do.

Sprint and vertical jump performances are not affected by six weeks of static hamstring stretching.


Oh, just in case you were wondering.  I'm not seeking these out.  I'm just stumbling across them in my normal daily readings.  This stuff is flooding recent research.  I hope I didn't give the impression I'm seeking this crap out to prove people wrong (which I've done many times), it's just invading my life and I'm sharing them.
