While it took forever for the host school to post the results, I finally got the official results from Alfred State's trip out to Virginia this week.

Andy Jones had a 4m personal best to throw 41.32 in hammer as a season opener.  I foresee him doing really well this season.  He also threw a personal best in shot of 12.31 which is great seeing how he hasn't thrown it more than once or twice in almost 2 months.  He qualified for nationals in hammer and just missed it for shot.

Chris Grey also opened up at 39.49 in hammer.  He also qualified for nationals with that throw.  He's a freshman this year and is struggling putting together a good throw.  Once he connects his throw he should be throwing high 40s - low 50s.

That's two of my 4 athletes (apparently there's a 5th I haven't met or heard about until minutes ago though) that opened this weekend.  This weekend we'll have the whole crew throwing at home (I think).
